Tico Tshirt - Tico was the City of Phoenix Transit logo of over 40 years. Many generations of Phoenix residents used Tico to travel around the valley. A orange- and purple-striped omnibus stamped with the logo of the city’s mid-70s bus mascot: a smiling sun wearing, incongruously, sunglasses. If it was to go to work, school or to play, the familiar happy mascot was always there to get people around.

In addition to the ironic shades, the bus emblem was adorned with another iconic Southwestern accessory: a Mexican sombrero, symbolic of a kinder, gentler time when the city considered it simply good business sense to flaunt its Hispanic roots.

Even though Tico has been retired or as some say "Deported" by Joe Arpaio, you can still re-live the memories by getting this Tico shirt.
